Jelly and ice cream kind of a read but it filled me up more than I was expecting. Not as predictable as I'd expected it to be - not that there's any chance that girl will end up without the right boy, but the way she got there wasn't quite as obvious as I'd imagined. Also I thought Pip had a little bit more depth to her than her younger sisters Fen and Cat who featured in Freya North's last couple of books.

Even though this is an adult book I really enjoyed it. I was quite indecisive either to give a 3.5 or 4. It was quite hard to get into in the beginning, it took like maybe 25-35 pages until I understood what was going on haha, there was a lot of detailing that I think wouldn’t have been necessary, but I really liked it in general...

I am giving this book 2 stars simply because I did not connect to the story or its characters. I though the plot of having a clown and an accountant fall in love was quite original as I had never seen that before.

Got this book free with Cosmopolitan magazine a few years ago, it was alright but nothing special from what I remember.

Good, but not as good as her others.
