Compellingly written but tbh a little wish-washy at the end. “Don’t worry about all the hardship and abuse you’ve gone through and continue to go through — this will make great material when you’re a writer someday!” seems like a questionable moral at best. But I truly did love spending time with Theo and her worlds.

True to the island, saw the goats on the roof because of this. Easily read, and well constructed. I never can remember how it ends, but every time it's perfect.
