Absolutely loved that Robby picked up on the 'children as flowers' analogy! This would make a wonderful teacher gift for those special folks who tend our children.

This is a beautifully illustrated book and the extended garden metaphor is sweet, but it seems like a book that should be more a gift book for a teacher rather than a picture book for children?

Interesting metaphor using gardens as young students. However, I wish it went deeper on either the character of Mrs. Spitzer or on a specific flower/student. Not a bad book, just not my taste.
