Highly recommend the audiobook version, narrated by the author! I love Baume’s YouTube channel, and this book feels like an extension of that. This book delves into how Hollywood depicted queerness on TV through the decades, and what society and lawmakers thought of queerness in those time periods. I wish there had been time spent examining the actors, writers, and others who made these queer shows possible, but I understand that this book is more about general themes and movements in media.
