This story is a little slow to start. It's narrated mostly by Nana, the travelling cat himself. He tells the story of finding Satoru and their life together.
I very quick found myself emotionally invested in the story and simultaneously wanted to finish the book and for it to never be over. The relationship between Nana and Satoru is perfect and I found myself reaching for my own cat while reading. Ultimately, the end is predictable but it makes it no less impact.
