gorgeous story telling from my new favorite manga author and illustrator. everything i read from this author has left me with emotions that no other manga has left with with. i wish nothing but the best for her and i’m so excited to read more of her work in the future!

so realistic it’s almost nihilistic
Though my lesbian experience with loneliness was a wild and fun ride into some heavy topics, this novel manages to dive deeper and give a very defined picture of what depression is like. At times it can feel like you should be frustrated with Kabi Nagata but I only found I related to her in a way that had me looking inwards.

The familial relationships are rough here, as well as the mental health struggles. I thought it was well thought, and truly it reads like a diary. We're seeing the author grow.
