The more I read it as I get older, the more I see all the holes and weaknesses, but I still love it too much to care

Characters intrigued me and staying with the series is worth it. Each book highlights a different member of the flock. Interested to see where it will take me in the self titled Fang, Angel, and Max books.

I can't remember when I read this (a couple years ago?), but it was one of the most poorly written things I've ever seen in print. Seriously, Twilight is better written and has a better plot. It's a bit hard to believe it's a real book. When I returned it to the library, I was still baffled.

I'm making it my mission to read all the books I've owned the longest, and well ... this one wasn't for me. I know I'm not the target audience, but there is a difference between writing a book for 10-year-olds and writing a book that reads like it was written by a 10-year-old. Like this tried so hard to be Percy Jackson, but it just wasn't.

Edit: Just found out this was published 3 months before Percy Jackson... but well doesn't change anything.
