A lot of fat shaming. The book is missing a trigger for eating disorder description. The book implies that hormone replacement therapy and homeopathy/remedies as equivalent. They are not: one is science based and the others are not.

What an absolutely brilliant book that had me laughing out loud and relating to almost every page. Would recommend to any menopausal women out there, and also to women who have yet to reach the big M purely to prepare them for later life.

HILARIOUS

That's all you need to know really.

This isn't a medical guide.

A know it all book.

What Jenny has written is something that is relatable, something that will have you crossing your legs so you don't let out a little wee.

Women tend to dread the menopause (just as much as they dread their period turning up month after month).

Older and Wider won't take away the stresses of this quite frankly non-glamorous time in your life but it will turn some of the negatives into positives and make it all just a little bit more bearable by knowing that you most definitely aren't alone with those hot flushes and mood swings.

A-Z of a comedic account of the ultimate change in a wonderful ride. Yes I called my mum straight...well I texted her to give me some answers and apologised for also being a big heifer during her 'hawt in here' period.

Thank you Jenny for writing this necessary book! It’s what every woman needs to hear, particularly if she’s hurtling towards the menopause at a sweaty raging pace.

I suggested to my man that he ought to read this book, for his own safety more than anything

I think this is the best book I've ever read about menopause. It's realistic, sometimes even crude, and fun to read.
It made me laugh and reflect on my own experience and it was great to read and say "It's really like this".
It's an excellent read and I think that all women who are approaching or living menopause should read it.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
