A list:
-I went from Team Locke to Team Cassius and I am raging that I will probably never see that come to fruition.
-I hated the beginning of this book. I was quite bored for the first 50 pages.
-I adored every scene that involved Nova and Jinx. Truly MVPs.
-Cassius really won me over here.
-Locke is still great, but he isn't as involved as I imagined him to be.
-Aurora is still a strong character, but I still had issues with some of her thought processes.

Overall, a great sequel. I didn't have to wait as long as others, but I think it was definitely worth the pushback.

Exciting sequel on par with the first book, Roar, looking forward to the finale.

Um, excuse me. When is the third one releasing? I’m two books in, can’t quit now.

A nice sequel to the first book. Love the little lesbian romance in there, very nice. And Duke’s the guy! The man! The one from the story! I audibly gasped

I really enjoyed this - loved the journey that Aurora went on. Was a good, easy read and I'm very excited for the finale after the amazing last few pages.

Roar was a massive 5 stars from me when it first came out so I was a bit surprised I didn't love this one as much, A few reasons why it wasn't a 5 star read for me:
- I was a bit confused by the timeline, it felt like there was time skips but I couldn't figure out an exact amount of time that had passed.
- Not much actually happened for the first 50% of the book

While the above are just some of my thoughts I still had a lovely time reading this story. there was some beautiful moments between characters that pulled on my heart strings and some amazing plot twists. And Cora's writing is so beautiful to read that I still loved this book!

2021 review:
Did not like it as much as the previous book, but definitely a pleasurable read still. A couple twists and turns that made it exciting. Looking forward to the next book. Luckily for me the next book will be published later this year so the wait won't be long.

I received an e-ARC from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. Review can be found on *Milky Way of Books*

This sweet book was one of my most anticipated. And while I didn't re-read the first book I didn't feel lost. I remembered quite a lot and additionally, Cora took pains in reminding me how all the characters came to be. Add in a mysterious extra third POV and you'll find out how the main villain of the book came to be. Aurora had some growth as a character but I really enjoyed reading Kiran and I still have some fears and conflict regarding Cassius. New characters are also introduced along with old ones and the comedy relief in some parts of the story was refreshing.

The ending was also a cliffhanger and I don't know if there'll be anything left of Pavan after the third book is published!
