Too much jumping around for me initially. Bit jarring.

Not my favourite Rizzoli and Isles, but I still enjoyed it. I liked the Africa setting and the two different story lines--kept it interesting. A nice break from some of the other books I've been reading, but that's why I like Gerritsen (and Preston and Douglas); I know what to expect from these writers and I'm usually not disappointed that way.

In an almost strange coincidence two of my reading track joined in this book: Crime Fiction & Reading Africa. Rizzoli and Isles are on a case that leads back to a safari in Botswana with almost no survivors... Big cats at home and abroad and cases across jurisdictions that may or may not be connected - can the survivor outside Cape Town shed light on it?
As always Gerritsen weaves an intricate tale both on the murder mystery story lines and the personal ones.

Really enjoyed book 11 in the Rizzoli and Isles series.

One of my fears is being eaten alive by a wild animal! So this book gave me plenty of chills!!!

Bring on book 12!

I always loved the show Rizzoli & Isles so when I found this at a tag sale I had to pick it up. The story was entertaining, captivating and had a great twist. The characters were truly fleshed out. The story went from Boston in some chapters to Botswana in Africa 6 years prior with both stories intermingling. A great mystery with two kick ass female leads!
