Um, excuse me with that ending! That major cliffhanger of an ending. Why is it that I didn’t even realize this was going to be a trilogy until I actually finished the book? I’m a little shook and I was not prepared for that.

We’ve got three sexy masked men, Matthias, Theo, and Ezra, with a vendetta who become obsessed with the new girl. Adeline finds herself being chased and toyed with by them. She has no idea why they seem to hate her, yet can’t stop themselves from indulging in her body. These men have a secret, but so does Adeline.

The graveyard setting was eery and the events took place just before and on Halloween so it was a perfect read for the season. The spice did not disappoint in this one either. Chase scenes and major edging. You got a mask and knife kink? This one is for you.

From the very opening ,the imagery was absolutely stunning! Adaline’s family has moved back to her father’s hometown after something happened that has left Adaline guarded and broken. While relaxing in a cemetery listening to classical music Adaline ends up in a grave with no way out , being left by 3 masked men, Adaline is saved by a stranger (or is he?!) , events take place and the story starts to unfold!

I’m so excited for the second one to be released because that ending?! That cliffhanger! What’s going to happen?! What happened in Adaline’s past that she doesn’t want to talk about? Who are these 3 masked men and more importantly how far would you go for your family?

This book was a quick read that leaves you wanting more , Ezra with needing pain to feel alive, Matthias with something traumatic happening to his sister and the thirst for revenge and Theo, Theo is intriguing and I liked to know a little more of him.
