so good, so heres some thoughts

- nah bc im so in love with charlie its not even funny

- the older sister syndrome hit a bit too close to home here :')

- the way the younger sister calls her 'sissy' unironically, made me so thankful for my brother you have no idea

(looking back i really cannot get past the sister subplot and therefore have denoted this book to three stars - i think if i was more invested in the love story i would have tolerated it but it was just so much and for nothing)

I kept seeing Emily Henry’s books on tik tok so when I was looking to treat myself to a new one at Target I went with Book Lovers. It didn’t disappoint one bit. In the book the character jokes about how the whole love story felt like something out of a romcom movie and it’s the perfect comparison. The big city gal falls for the big city guy with small town roots. Needless to say when I finished this one I put Henry’s other books on my hold list at the library.
