Storytelling felt a little scattered and needed fleshed out. Maybe being up to date on the titles before this would have helped. The teams and their ability to work together, as always, were the high point of the book. Also the challenger is a pretty formidable villain that I wouldn’t mind seeing more of.

Du comics de super héros comme on aime. C'est très simple dans le concept, très manichéen, mais l'exécution est magistrale et on prend un pied monumental à lire cette saga.
Les artistes choisis sont en plus tous extrêmement talentueux, ce qui en fait un régal pour les yeux !

This is nearly note-perfect Avengers, not in spite of some of the big guns being out of action, but because of it. Teamwork is the theme, and Waid & Ewing together do an excellent job of rebuilding from the recent unpleasantness and establishing a road ahead. Lightning is a particular standout, fans of Hawkeye will be pleased, and the new(ish) Wasp is great in this, too. It's about heart, and I really liked it.
