I can’t be at all unbiased about this because it’s Isabelle.

Lovely writing undercut by a truly asinine premise and even worse characters.

slight but enjoyable! it ran a bit on romancelandia logic -- i'm p. sure they knew each other for like maybe a week before love and marriage declarations? but w/e, i enjoyed it. 2.5 stars

Fairly silly. Isabelle and Mr. Fitzwilliam’s touching exchanges were its saving grace.

This story has a really outrageous premise. I kinda liked it. It’s too short for me to really like the characters, but I did like the conversations.

A great novella with an unexpected premise and outcome. Really heartwarming.
