Unfortunately Ami and Dane experience the worst of bad luck at their wedding reception when everyone, apart from Olive and Ethan, come down with violent food poisoning! Cue a comedy of errors when Olive is forced to fly to Hawaii for the holiday of a lifetime with her nemesis...
It was a cute read over a weekend when the clocks changed and I could curl up in bed and enjoy a book where I did not need to think too much at all! It was filled to the brim with everything you would expect from a story of two people who start as enemies and end up in bed together!Ā

- Olive and Ethan are so fun together! Their banter is fun and I love how they call each variations of their own names.Ā
- It seemed like they had some misconceptions about each other, which caused the misguided notions. They clearly like to bicker and compete with each other. To me they werenāt exactly enemies.Ā
- Olive and Ethan remind me of Mia and Nicholas from the movie The Princess Diaries 2 (especially the āI loathe youā and kiss scene!)Ā
- The timing of the comedic and dramatic scenes are so on pointĀ
- I definitely understand why Christina Lauren books are so popular! This one specifically had a lot of charm, romance, humor.Ā
- Oliveās family is so supportive and protective of each other.Ā
- The epilogue is amazing and I loved it!Ā
- The drama between Ami and Dane. OMG. I didnāt see it coming but Iām not surprised either. I immediately got bad vibes from Dane. I think itās interesting that they were together from the beginning but Olive and Ethan are meant to be.Ā
- I didnāt like or understand the obsession with boobs and body parts in this book. It was too repetitive about them. Like we get it, Olive has big boobs and Ethan is attractive. However, Iām not opposed to reading other Christina Lauren books.Ā

This was my first Christina Lauren book (which I think it is so cool it is two friends co writing!!) after having a couple on my TBR for awhile. Finally read this and it was so fun!! It had some of the best tropes (enemies to more, fakeĀ dating/relationship, a vacation, one bed) and it is a perfect read for summer. And for those who maybe donāt like it toooo spicy but still like a little, I think this could fit that. I was honestly expecting more spice tbh! It was there but not as much as other books. šš„

I was kinda surprised by the ending with Dane and Ami tbh. That was pretty sad. :( It was also frustrating when nobody was believing Olive. It also kinda made me have trust issues with Ethanā¦ but I guess the epilogue helped restore it mostly.Ā
