A pretty cool concept, which I adored. I always wondered about the behind the scenes of a reality show so that book was a interesting read. Also the main couple was cute. I recommend this book if you are looking for a vacation sweet lighthearted romance read. Thank you :)

This book was so adorable. It was basically The Bachelor but with a sapphic twist. Love triangles are automatically superior if the two love interests get together instead. I liked how this critiqued reality tv shows by portraying it as a way to pit women against each other. But the women in this book definitely didn’t fall for it as they all became friends in the end. There was just something so satisfying about Jordy reaching his downfall at the end. I fucking hate that guy!

I wish we had gotten more of Maya and Skye throughout the story. I feel like some of their romance was rushed, or it was more of a physical relationship. I didn’t fully feel that emotional connection until the end. I just would have liked to see more heartfelt conversations between the two girls in the middle of the story.

I also wasn’t a big fan of the miscommunication trope that happened at the end of the story. It was relatively small compared to other books I’ve read but it was still frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed this sapphic rom-com. I would highly recommend it.

This one didn't do it for me, couldn't get past the believability of the reality TV premise, that and I found it hard to like any of the characters. There were some fun moments for sure, the little behind the scenes we get at the production of the show were interesting.

I haven't watched the bachelor, but if you were a fan of that or any of the MTV reality dating shows, this might be the book for you.

The reality show that our main characters Skye and Maya join is about dating their ex again, winning his heart back. Only, Maya doesn't want to date him again, she wants to decimate him for breaking her heart when she was 17. Skye joins the show hoping to get the answer about why Jordy (their ex) disappeared. Both of these women, they're speaking to two reactions I would have had if I was in their situation: answers and revenge.

I found it hard to like Skye at first because it felt as if she was constantly trying to undermine Maya and what she was saying because she had listened to Jordy's narrative on who Maya was as a person. That tension obviously would be there, but it was just so frustrating that she believed everything he said with no questions.

I was wrapped up in this book so quick and the dates and the drama that would unfold and how some people only wanted attention and stardom. It was an interesting take on a reality show dating book, and I honestly felt like it wasn't a cliche novel either. It was very fast paced, and I found that the switch of perspectives was very helpful.

Cute romance story with a bonus of getting revenge on those who have wronged them. Behind the romance plot it really just focuses on women supporting and believing each other when no one else does.
