I have been anxiously waiting for Carter’s story and it has started off as an explosive, hoy and spicy teaser of what’s to come! And I can’t wait for more!
June is a photographer who has been tasked to fly 10 hours in a plane to take pictures and the elusive and secretive Carter is her pilot.
I loved this couples banter and instant attraction that sets a spectacular beginning on an epic series!

This is the prequel to Force of Nature releasing in August, 2022. It explains how Carter and June ended up on an island after their plane went down. Carter is a professor of biology but there’s something hidden and secretive about him. June is a sunshiny nature photographer who hates flying and a little naive.

The two together are

I got so invested

I was really getting into only for it to end on a cliffhanger. I want more of them so on to the next book I go, which I am now waiting to be released.

From the brief encounter that we had with the main characters, their chemistry in the next book is something I look forward to as well the plot because I really want to know who is behind everything.

These two talented authors definitely know how to leave us wanting more. A quick read and the perfect tease with drama and suspense mixed with just the right amount of chemistry. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

It's Amelia Wilde...of course, I had to give it five stars!

Did I know this was a prequel...nope...was not paying attention so I may have screamed at that ending! Get ready for a cliffhanger because this just slaps you in the face with one!

We get just the right amount of build-up in this quick novel, plot tension, sexual tension, the whole shebang, and then it's over leaving you in that tension until the next book releases...

Was it worth it? Absolutely! I love the Morelli family and honestly cannot wait to nose dive into Carter's story!

In this prequel we meet Carter and June Porter, two opposites forced together to create separate missions. She to photograph wildlife and his to fly her there (and maybe be a part of some sort of secret mission). But they don't arrive at their destination and instead crash land on a deserted island. But was it an accident or is someone out to see Carter doesn't finish what he started...

Seriously...how do I get this next book!?

What a start to this series!

I can't wait to read more about the elusive Carter Morelli and June, the woman in the wrong plane at the wrong time. Their interactions in this quick prequel novella are wonderful and I want more!

The Crash is a prequel to Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde's new upcoming book, Force of Nature. Even though this is just a short novella of seven chapters, it was more than enough to wet my appetite for more. I can't wait to see what the author's have in store next for June and Carter!

The story starts with Carter Morelli who has to pilot photographer June Porter to Africa for a new job she's doing. Seems easy enough for Carter even with the insane chemistry that's between them from the moment they met, until the plane malfuctions and they crash-land on an island. They both survive and aren't harmed but then Carter realizes they crashed because someone sabotaged the plane and tried to assassinate him. Now he needs to not only keep himself safe but also June.

This was a great start to what I'm sure is going to be a super exciting and hot as hell story. The chapters went back and forth between Carter and June, which I loved. The prequel was short one, very easily to be read in one sitting. There already were some spicy scenes, just enough to make me crave more so I can't wait to read Force of Nature as I'm sure there's a lot in store for these two characters.

Overall, The Crash by Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde is a very promising start of something exciting, dangerous and steamy. I'm already hooked and can't wait to read more!

Overall Grade: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde’s The Crash is foreboding, a warning of what’s to come. This story follows Carter Morelli, the absentee brother of the Morelli family from the Midnight Dynasty world. In this prelude to Force of Nature, we gain access to a bit of Carter’s background, and we are introduced to June Porter, the photographer he’s been tasked to fly to a photo shoot. There are fireworks between them from the beginning, but Carter believes he is too good and innocent for him. Over the course of this novella, their plane crashes, and we are left to wonder the “why.” Carter is broody and alpha, while June is determined and insightful. We can already see that June sees more in Carter than most people which acts as the perfect set-up for the next book. The Crash is a quick nibble that you won’t want to miss.

Wow! I want more of this story right now!! Carter and June are attracted to each other right away. Carter is hired to fly her across the ocean to a photography job. They crash land on a remote island. There is more to Carter than a professor and pilot of a plane. He has secrets and he will do what he needs to do to keep June safe. The chemistry between them is so hot. I seriously can’t wait to read more from this couple and their story.
