I "read" this graphic novel back in July. Read in quotations because this book doesn't have any words or dialogues. But the monochromatic illustrations with a burst of color were able to show how two people longed for a connection, and how their paths intersected without them knowing. This was a perfect depiction of what we're looking for just passed by us a second ago without us realizing it, but there will be that opportunity, that chance that we will eventually find it... or not.

this book, although with almost no words, speaks so highly of the quest to align ourselves with people who we think should get a piece of our heart… and the humanity of heartbreak.

Very melancholy but really nice art, definitely relatable to singles in the city. The ending is sweet and although the main characters appear to be straight and white I am still rooting for them

*interesting visual of how lives intersect, especially the lives of people who live in the same area and have fairly frequent parallels without even realizing it

* you don't often see media portraying "silent crushes", where you see someone one time and develop an instant crush and have an entire daydream about them that you never intend to act on, because you only interacted with them in passing. I thought it was cool that this whole book was kind of about that
