I pulled this book off my pile after receiving a mailer asking for my opinion on anti-Catholic sentiment and how that could ludicrously translate to a vote for Trump. I needed a little reassurance that there are still liberal rabble rousing catholics
Btw: Nancy Pelosi, presented as a bad type of catholic in the mailer, had a profile in this book.
Unsurprisingly the essays by nuns resonated most and the essay by the founder of Domino's turned my stomach.
A quote from Cokie Roberts: "as with all other things when they have become sexually integrated, people discover the only group that is responsible enough to show up, that you can count on, is women or, in this case, girls."
