This one was fun and it was probably my favourite one out of the series because we finally get to meet the rest of the cast- Snufkin, Snork maiden and Snork - we learn how Moomin and Sniff met them and how they came to live in Moominvalley.

A exciting adventure story with lots of fun characters!

Story: One morning, Moomintroll and Sniff go exploring near the Moominhouse. Sniff finds a cave, with the help of a mischevious silk-monkey, while Moomintroll goes diving for pearls. Meanwhile at Moominhouse, Muskrat comes to complain about Moominpapa's bridge building. During their discussion, Muskrat warns that *something* is going to happen. Possibly something frightening.

Characters: A big cast of the Moomin world is here: Moominmama, Moominpapa, Moomintroll, Sniff, Muskrat, Snufkin, Snork Maiden, 2 Hemulens, and many more. If you are new to the Moomin world, no worries, this is a good book to start from.

Language: Tove Jansson's and translator Elizabeth Portch's storytelling and dialogue float you along, page by page, chapter by chapter, with whimsy, adventure, humor and warmth. This is a fast read, armchair book for the whole family.

Adventure and excitement in a delightful page-turning read.

- Tie pieder man, kamēr es te dzīvoju, - Susuriņš bezrūpīgi atteica.
