Bryan Q Miller wrote the best Stephanie Brown I have ever seen. His style of writing meshes perfectly with her character. The only problem with this book is that the "villians" were a little weak and a few things left open. After reading this I'm more disappointed that she isn't in the New 52.

So, I love the Batgirl arc with Stephanie Brown. She's hilarious and dauntlessly happy and out for justice. This is a fantastic final volume of her story, though it doesn't go out with as much of a bang as I'd like. She does, as least, get to say goodbye to her readers.

Spoiler was never really a great hero name, but then again, it made sense in context.
With the ever-fun Stephanie Brown stepping into the purple&black bat cosplay, she seemed like a less egotistical Darkwing Duck (with the actual Darkwing Duck mannerisms falling to Damien...bloody hilarious!) and would have been a fine addition to the Batfamily...if only if only...

Far more like it - the art is occasionally a bit hit and mess, but I would far prefer to see someone trying to be Frank Quitely than someone trying to be Rob Liefeld like in that Titans tosh from yesterday. Nicely written too - it’s refreshing to see a writer kind of be aware of their limitations and instead of heading for cliche (again see Titans), head for something reasonably straightforward and low level threat (it’s very telling the worst issue here is the London one - Miller is good at taking the British cliches and subverting them but significantly less good at the cosmic stuff and his discomfort shows. On the whole not bad at all

Another reread in trade. Stephanie Brown as Batgirl is the reason I'm a comics fan. It makes me sad that she hasn't been seen since the reboot.

Good start. Unsurprisingly, as soon as creative team had to take on board some of the stuff Morrison incorporated into the Batman canon, it went down hill fast. Rallied a bit at the end, but not as good as first two collections.

Wow, I picked this up at the library and did not realize this was the third volume in a series. Oops. Yeah, I had no idea what was going on through most of it--especially since certain plot points seemed to happen in books not about Batgirl. Still, I really liked Stephanie Brown in the costume. She was funny and had witty comebacks worthy of Buffy. I might just have to go back and read the volumes I missed.
