Sat at the breakfast table for an hour on the weekend so I could keep reading. AJ Demas is a knockout author, every time I pick up one of their books.

I enjoyed everything about this book. I liked how the dual POV's were structured and loved how the author made the cultures come to life. Rus and Adares were both distinctive characters and I found the pace of the book worked well for me (it's not particularly fast paced but it's never boring).
