There are regular times in my life, when I don't realize I need a certain book until it's in my hands. Some books we seek out because we are attracted to them and others fall in our laps without question. This contemporary romance fell into my lap last week and I ate it up in one day of reading. It reads quickly and has a lot of drama, longing for love, and pain that draws you right in.

We have our main characters Natalie King and Cole Adams.

Natalie is a self-motivator, trying to prove to herself that she can do things on her own and is building her career in banking. Her life focuses around being with her family, her best friend Lucy, and her career. When the book first starts, she is working on separating from her long-term, aggressive boyfriend that's a narcissistic nutcase.

Then we have Cole Adams. The handsome (albeit rich), quiet man standing at the counter of the coffee shop where Natalie is and when their eyes meet, the air charges and they both immediately feel like they know each other from somewhere. This was the biggest element that tied the entire storyline together - fated lovers that could never be together. While Cole and Natalie can feel fate continuing to pull them together, Cole is engaged and in love with Natalie's former high school enemy.

Things are incredibly complicated as Cole's friend starts to date Natalie's best friend and they find themselves constantly brought together. But the part I loved most about this story was the continued focus on fate and destiny. It tore their hearts apart each time they saw the other with someone else, because they just knew they were meant to be together. The author does an amazing job by keeping infidelity out of the story, no one cheats on their partners, which lends even more to the heart breaking outcomes.

There are a few really hot sex scenes, lots of bad language, but the book focuses mostly on the entwined love destiny of our main characters. A moving romance novel I'd recommend to any of my romance reading friends!

I've read some of Krissy's other books and I really LOVE (hah!) this book the most. The story between Cole and Natalie kept me turning the pages figuring out what would happen at the end. I finished this in less than 2 days. I would encourage you to read this not conventional love story (or any of Krissy's books) because you will get hooked. This is not my genre of choice, but after reading Truck Stop Tango, Krissy's books have made it into my TBR pile and I was excited she was releasing a new book this year! You can feel her passion when she is writing and she has become a favorite of mine. Give this story a shot! You will NOT be disappointed!

Also, can I just say that the negative haters (Ellie) clearly have nothing better to do than just sit here and bash on authors saying that they paid for positive reviews, really? Let's see you write a book, i'll make sure to be the first in line to read and review it. Gotta love bully's on the internet. Constructive criticism is one thing, being a jerk is another. Get outta here with that negative BS.

"L.O.V.E." by Krissy Daniels took me by surprise in the very best of ways and I loved it more than I ever could have anticipated. Based on the story's beginning, I was expecting it to be a cute, sweet, and fluffy read, but instead, it quickly turned into an angsty, engrossing rollercoaster that gave me all the feels. I read most of the book in one sitting, constantly on the edge of my seat, just waiting to see what would happen next.

I'm not a big believer in fate or love at first sight, but even I had to admit that it seemed like fate had a hand in bringing the main characters of this story, Natalie and Cole, together. They still had plenty of obstacles standing in the way of their relationship, and at times it seemed as if those obstacles just might be insurmountable. That said, both Cole and Natalie were very likeable, well-developed characters, and I appreciated how hard they both tried to do the right thing even when their hearts were pulling them in a different direction.

I highly recommend "L.O.V.E." for all fans of emotional contemporary romance and will be waiting with great anticipation to see what Krissy Daniels writes next.
