I am a fan of Kate Beaton's comics, so I had to read her first foray into picture books and she does not disappoint. The story and her illustrations perfectly complement each other, creating a cute picture book that is also fun. I am definitely going to put this on my purchasing list for the school year.

Really fun story. Positive, creative and funny. Kate's art is distinctive and delightful.

This book was so cute. And I think everyone should pick up a picture book every now and then.

More like a 3 1/2. Better than average, but I'm stingy with 4's and 5's. Cute story that I used with a special needs class. The illustrations of the warriors are hilarious.
