This is a comic book, so that is why I read it so fast.
This book is written about life 60 years ago when in 1941 14. june morning Russian soldiers deported Latvians and Lithuanians to Siberia. And in the story you read about their lives in that time.
That time was depressing, but the author wrote it from 13 year old boys perspective and he didn't understand what is going on, so the story was really good and happy most of the time.
The author says that most of the book is true, this and that is fictional.
I did learn new things that are very valuable.

Bonito cómic infantil con mucho poderío visual (hay páginas verdaderamente bellas por su color y encuadre) que consigue contar una peripecia vital tremenda en relativamente pocas páginas. Eso sí, es inevitable tener la sensación de que todo es muy fragmentario y a ratos anecdótico pues quiere contar mucho en poco espacio. Bonita caligrafía, precioso dibujo, potente a nivel emocional y, aunque es evidente su vocación infantil, se lee con placer.
