Caught in the Spin by Sharleen Scott is the second book in the Caught series. The story is about Tallie Peters and Tom Black. Tallie has rebuilt her life with her young son. Tom is a former bull rider who has a string of short romances. When the two meet the sparks start to fly. Tallie is dealing with her ex threatening her and Tom helps to come to her and her son's rescue. Can the two get over their pasts and find romance? This like the first book in the series is well written with enduring characters. I enjoyed reading the progression of the story and the hardships that Tallie faces. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is the second book in the series and I can say that I wasn't disappointed. I found that the author did a great job of keeping the flow of the series. The book just kept me glued to the pages. I couldn't put this book down.
The chemistry between Tallie and Tom is just explosive. I just loved the way that the author developed their relationship. I liked the twist the author put into the story of Tallie's ex. The way the story plays out makes the whole book realistic. I found the authors writing style to bring the story to life and I found myself getting caught up in it. I will definitely be reading more from this author in future.

Caught in a Spin was another great read from this author, she had a really nice writing style which makes her books a pleasure to read. It didn’t take me long at all to be completely captivated by what I was reading and my interest was kept from beginning to end.
I really liked Tallie – her story was full of action, drama and more! She was such an independent person but you could tell there was always this fear lurking for her when it came to her ex-husband. I loved the attraction between her and Tom, it felt so real and genuine. I really liked Tom too and I was really rooting for him and Tallie the whole way through – I thought they were perfect for each other!
I am really excited to read the next book in the series and more from this wonderful author!!

I LOVE the cover of this book! So Sexy! This is the perfect second book in this series! We were introduced to Tom in the last book. He is a cowboy who runs a ranch in Nashville. He is also the head of security for Clay Masterson. He brother and best friend. The relationship we saw between Clay and Tom last book really shows it’s true colors in this one. It’s nice to read about this with the men. Normally it’s a female who has an amazing best friend. This is different and I like it. They have talks and always have each other’s backs. One of my favorite relationships in the two books! I also enjoyed learning about Tom’s past and seeing how he ended up the way he is now. Very interesting! Tallie Peters was perfect! Not only Tom but she brought an element of danger to the story. She has a colorful past she is trying to out run. She is smart and protective. I liked her character very much.
It was great to see Clay and Harlie in this book. They were involved and helpful to both of the main characters. I liked seeing where they are now. This is full of some great characters that add so much to the story. It don’t pull away too much from Tom and Tallie.
This is my third book by this author. She easily drew me Into the lives of these characters. The story flowed nicely and I read it fairly quickly. The characters were fun, flirty and dangerous. While this could be read as a stand alone I HIGHLY recommend reading book 1 (Caught in the Cross Seas). Perfect Title as well! So be ready for the “Spin” in this book!

Caught in the Spin is the second book in the Caught series. When I first started to read this series, I almost stopped reading because of the romance theme but that would have been a big mistake. This story is more than a romance story. It has an element of suspense and mystery. Sharleen Scott can tell a great story and I felt like I was in the story with Tallie and Tom. Tallie is looking for a place to go that will be safe for her and her son from her ex-husband who has been in prison. Will there be refuge in the ranch with Tom or will Tallie’s ex-husband find them and take her son away from her?

Second book in the series and my favorite so far. I enjoy how this author has the ability to pull me into her story with ease with her creative writing. Tallie thought her life was looking up until her ex-husband was released from prison with a determination to take his son from her. Will she find the security she needs behind Tom and his ranch? Their story is full of action and the unexpected twists left me turning pages. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens.

The story could be read as a standalone, but there are recurring characters, and details, that you would better appreciate having read the first book before embarking on this one.
This is a great series, well worth your time to read- the characters are beautifully developed with their own personalities- and Ms. Scott certainly knows how to craft a completely engaging and captivating story. It has so much going on in it- from danger, mystery, suspense, action, drama, tension, and of course romance. The storyline drew me in and had me anxiously flipping pages to find out how everything plays out and I found myself completely invested in Tallie and Tom- and the outcome of their story.
Well worth the read! Can’t wait to see what Ms. Scott does next!

Caught In The Spin is the 2nd book in the Caught Series by Sharleen Scott. I have previously read, and loved, the first book in the series Caught In Cross Seas. Each book can be read as a stand-alone but in my opinion you will get much more enjoyment if you read all books an in order.
We are introduced to Tom Black in the first book, as he is the best friend of Clay who was the male lead in that book. Tom is an ex bull rider who now runs Clay’s ranch and is in charge of his security. When Tallie Peters who works for Clay’s record company comes to the ranch to get Clay to sign some papers, there is an instant attraction between the two of them but Tom is unwilling to act on this attraction.
When Tom finds out he has an 11 year old son he didn’t know about, he turns to Tallie for advice as she also has an 11 year old son. This then brings Tom and Tallie closer together. When Tallie’s ex-husband is released from prison, a tragic event occurs which forces them even closer, both relying on the other for support. .
Like the first book in the series, this is a griping thriller that will have you hooked and unable to put the book down. The tension and suspense build up to an amazing, spectacular conclusion.

Caught in the Spin (the Caught Series Book 2) by Sharleen Scott is the second book in the series, that gets better with each book. Trust me, you need to read the first book in the series as this one comes into play two years after the first book and the characters are intertwined. The plot is a little more sinister than the first, but boy, oh boy, I was captivated and enthralled and no way was I putting it down, even when work got in the way, it was all I could think about. I fell in love with Tom and Talli as I did with Clay and Harlie from the first book. In fact I fall in love with all Sharleen’s main characters. Amazing. Tom, a strong, caring, sexy man has more than physical scars, he spent years looking, years wondering, years wanting. Now he is faced with his past but never in the way he would have imagined, not in a million years. This twist brings heartache and sadness but also an unknown joy. Tallie, a beautiful, sweet soul has lived through an horrendous past but came out one hell of a strong woman. More than she knows. Unfortunately, that past has resurfaced and is making good on a promise.
It is an emotional read where sometimes there is laughter but other times there are tears. Sharleen is one author that everyone needs to read. She has definitely is a very talented lady.

Sharleen Scott is quickly becoming a must read author for me. The second in the series, this romantic suspense continues the genre well set in the first Caught book and takes off on its own path. Scott does a beautiful job creating relatable characters that the reader connects with and invests in. I was hooked on page one and had to know what would happen next. I couldn’t put it down until the book was finished! Really enjoyed my time in these pages and look forward to seeing what is next in the series!
