The more I read in this series the better it gets! (P.S. If you haven't read the first two books in this series ([b:Tiger's Curse|9284655|Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1)|Colleen Houck|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327878915s/9284655.jpg|7156226] and [b:Tiger's Quest|9662386|Tiger's Quest (The Tiger Saga, #2)|Colleen Houck|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1396052451s/9662386.jpg|8003906]) then I suggest you don't read this review as I will be referring to those throughout... YOU WERE WARNED!)

Tiger's Voyage is the third installment in the Tiger's Curse series and has been my favorite...and somehow least favorite so far. There was just SO much going on! In this book Ren, Kelsey and Kishan all go in search of Durga's Necklace. In order to get there they need to encounter the 5 Chinese dragons and pass a test/challenge with each of them. Obviously I am summing that up in the most extreme way possible...but I'm lazy and don't feel like going into more detail.

What I loved:

-I enjoyed that Kelsey was finally having to pick one of the brothers. I was getting very upset with her whole teeter-totter routine with both of them.

-Ren losing his memory...overall it was a good thing. I didn't really think so at first but now...

-As always, the constant comedic relief provided by Kelsey and Kishan (Kishan mostly) was enjoyable, especially when they are having to go through these tough tasks with the dragons.

-I liked that Kelsey cuts her hair. I saw it as a symbol of her
Spoiler cutting Ren out of her life (somewhat) and being more devoted to Kishan

-Many more things, but those were the most crucial I felt.

What I didn't like:

-UGH!! Kelsey started getting just a tad...okay really freaking annoying with the love triangle. I hated that
Spoiler while Ren didn't have his memory she was all "I love you!! There is no one like you in the world. We are meant to be together." And then Ren is all like, "Um, get away from me you crazy lady. I want to party it up with this blond Barbie." THEN!!! As soon as he gets his memory back and actually wants Kelsey she's all, "Um, I don't want you anymore and I'm officially with Kishan now (which she basically decides on the spot) so leave me alone you freaking hunk of hot, muscular, sensitive, romantic man!" I'm clearly fan of Ren...

-I feel that Kishan is a great friend for Kelsey, but as soon as they get together I feel like he doesn't care quite as much.

That basically sums up everything. I cannot wait to read the fourth book!

I'd recommend this book to those who enjoy:

1. Action/Adventure
2. Strong Female Lead
3. Teen Romance
4. Love Triangles
5. DRAMA...haha
6. Awesomeness

Stále guilty pleasure, no. Přišlo mi to čtivější než předchozí díly, fakt mě to bavilo. Což je dost zajímavé vzhledem k faktu, že mě neskutečně vytáčí ústřední trio. Tedy hlavně cucák Ren (i když Kišan byl místy taky strašně přeslazený). A teda Kelseyny starosti o to, koho si má vybrat, když ji všichni milují, bych fakt chtěla mít! :D

Můj vztah k tygrům v kostce:
1. Ren nebo Kišan? Kišan
2. Kišan nebo nic? Nic
3. Ren nebo drátem do oka? Drátem do oka

*sighs* I had such high hopes for this series. It could have been so good, but now the plot has become so cliché.

My Thoughts:

1. There is too much unnecessary information. This became a HUGE and annoying issue while trying to read. On numerous occasions I skimmed paragraphs because it has no importance to the plot.
2. Don't even get me started on the love triangle. Gosh! It was so frustrating to read was should have been a simple romance now turned into a messy tangled web.
3. The tiger curse, which was essentially the focus of the series, seems to drag on forever...Also the tasks involved with achieving the prophecy seems too simple-minded and elementary. For something that's suppose to be of such great importance, all it takes are a few mind tricks and bargaining to accomplish each task.
4. The plot is too predictable.
5. Kelsey's character, which was suppose to be a strong and independent heroine, is now cowardly, timid, and cannot seem to live without a man by her side. She whines and freaks out about sharks, eels, dragons etc. and ends up (most of the time) getting injured or knocked unconscious.

I don't think I have the energy left in me to go through all that's wrong with this book. I can only say that I wish the author hadn't made her personal insecurities her character's insecurities because it becomes so convoluted and creates a cycle that Kelsey refuses to help herself out of and it's not fun to read it again and again.

I LOVE this series but this book feels a little uncohesive compared to the first two. :/
