Stories. There's freedom in stories, you know. We read them and we become something else. We Imagne different lives, and while we turn the pages, we get to live them.

I have soooo much love for this story! Why did I wait so long to read this? So many (also in this days) important topics are in it. Womenhood and identity problems are mixed with a super fast paced storyline and a very romantic, queer love story. So basically everything I want from a book, especially because I love fantasy books.

Also love how realistic some topics are handled. Flora is Florian and goes with all pronouns. He is kinda gender fluid and it's adorable how Evelyn excepts her. Incredible representation I haven't read about bevor, especially in a fantasy book, where it's also normal to have these kind of identity problems.

My favourite is Rake, whose character development and plot I definitely did see coming. He is a great friend and more to Flora. Flora and Evelyn are soooo cute together. I adore them and even though everything went really fast and there could have been more informations their story is perfect. The ending git me a little bit teary!!

One entire star is dedicated to Rake who is arguably the funniest character to me
