To some extent, I am happy with the direction that Akiko Higashimura has provided for Princess Jellyfish's story up to this point, but simultaneously the emotional sweep of this omnibus volume is less than its predecessors. Indeed, we are seeing growth from these characters and maturity in the story that will result in a payoff that I can potentially foresee, and my reservations towards these chapters merely stemmed from my curiosity and eagerness on how all would unfold, rather than being able to completely appreciate the present moment.

A fun comedy featuring nerdy women, this manga was exactly my taste. The artwork is beautiful. The story is funny and touching. The translation notes at the back of the book are very helpful in giving additional information.

Ahh it feels so good to come back to the world of Princess Jellyfish, especially with the relatively lackluster manga series I've been picking up lately. I just adore Kuranosuke, Shuu, and Tsukimi. They all have flaws, but try to work through them, and are just overall very likable. My feelings towards the other Amars are a bit different however, most of the time they're fine and even funny, but I just cannot stand Mayaya. She is the most selfish character in the whole series so far, and that's saying something. I understand that sewing isn't always fun, especially when you have no interest in it, but if it's to save something you love, why do you always complain and try to get out of it? And don't even get me started on her behavior at the fashion show! Other than that, this volume was quite fun, with my favorite scene being the one where Kuranosuke was watching Tsukimi and Shuu having a private convo, and getting insanely jealous hahaha.
