Decent clone fiction, but not the best one I've read this year. Rounding up from 3.5 because I liked the relationships between Dahlia and Waverly, and Waverly and Hennessy.

Read on the young side of YA to me, so probably would've enjoyed more as an actual teen than as an adult who wants more murder and mayhem. A good, quick read.

Possibly even better than the second, lol. I love how much the characters all grow on you as the book progresses. Well, some of the characters. That sentence does not apply to Waverlys mother, who is perpetually a bitch. Anyway, this duology was well-written and enjoyable for as short as the books are. I definitely recommend both for when you’re in the mood for a short, nostalgic feeling dystopian.

Não tenho nem palavras, estava louca para saber como essa história terminava e finalmente eu sei como e eu amei cada parte desse livro.

This was good! Not quite as interesting as the first book and definitely not the same anyways. The story takes a very different turn after the cliffhanger of book one, which was fine. I liked to see a lot of the relationships build and try to figure out how they’d make everything work by the end. This is an addicting duo of stories overall, even though this one took me forever to read lol.

Didn’t read the first book and was not lost at all. A very enjoyable YA read.
