Serious trigger warnings for just about everything. Sexual assault, murder, violence, gore, mental manipulation. This is not a book for the feint of heart

This book is vile and hard to read but there’s definitely something in it!

this book gave me visceral reactions like i was so uncomfortable the entire time. not to mention the gory and disturbing images described throughout the entirety of the book. it was a challenging book, and as a young adult, this definitely cleared up the types of books that i’m interested in (and i can guarantee i will never read something like this ever again). this book has definitely earned its reputation, i would take your mental state into consideration and i would recommend knowing what your limits are before opening this one. also, the book just like… wasn’t good? lmfao

It took me two goes to try and get through this. I just couldn't get into it. Some of the descriptions made me gag and feel physically ill. If you aren't aware (or even if you are) that this is satire it can be a confronting and cruel read. On the other hand it can also be a witty and interesting gaze at 80s Wall Street Guppies.

it was quite funny, more ridiculous, really, but the lack of plot was evident; though concealed by pages upon pages of music reviews, description of clothing and skin care routine.
overall, there was nothing going on, and while i think that was the point, it doesn‘t make it good.
it wasn‘t so much disgusting as it was a joke.
