These two books (I read the Totoro one recently too) mark the begin for of a rather expensive collection that I just need to carry on with, because holy hell. STUNNING.

Lots of lovely work in here. Its great to be able to just sit and study some or the backgrounds in more detail.

This book beautifully portraits the art behind the amazingly crafted movie. I loved looking at all the paintings and the developments into the finished art of the movie. It’s most definitely one of the best presents/books I have ever received!

Benefit: It’s a beautiful coffee table book that can easily displayed at home ☺️

Hermoso. Hay imágenes de toda la película, bocetos y un poco de texto explicando algunos de los procesos y decisiones artísticas que se tomaron para llegar l resultado final.

Al final se incluye el script completo.

This was my favorite movie growing up and the book offered an insight of the Miyazaki's intentions with the movie which made me look at it in a whole different way! I highly recommend this book if not for the art alone the insight from the artists and the struggles makes re watching the movie a whole new experience.

For art enthusiasts and Ghibli fanatics. Beautiful and enlightening as to the process of creating such a wonderful film.
