This was my favorite in the series so far. But seriously, Finlay, go to the police.

The most unbelievable of the series this far and the amount of suspended belief was distracting. It was hard to enjoy.

While they are starting to lean more and more into the cozy mystery genre, I don’t mind since I like the characters. At this point I’ll continue to pick up this series as long as more books are coming out.
3.5 ⭐️
I feel like Finlay and a few recent “cozier mysteries” are creating their own genre, or a sub genre, within the cozy mystery category since they don’t fit exactly with the traditional ones.

Fun read, not as good as the first two in my opinion but I like the characters. The series doesn’t take itself too seriously, it’s a nice palate-cleanser type read.

Probably more of a 2.5 because I do like a lot of these characters. But dear god, it was hard to suspend disbelief with this one. A very unbelievable storyline. And it just felt very repetitive, night after night of sneaking out. Probably won’t finish the series TBH.
