“Wherever you are, no matter if it's right next to me or a thousand miles away," I say, "I'm tied to you with a tread that can't break. We're connected by something stronger than time or place.”

I’ve already said it and I’ll say it again: these books are too cute. Garrison and Willow are the best <3

And the character development SO CUTE remember back when Garrison had no friends :( I loved how his relationship with Connor, Ryke and Lo progressed across the series.

Connor, Ryke, and Lo—they protect me all the time. They care about me when they don’t have to. These are three brothers that I’d never trade in, never swap out, and even though we’re not blood-related, I know they’re mine.

Also, I loved the explanation as to why they only had Vada. I always wondered if there was a reason behind that, so it was cool to have that explained.

AND MOFFY!! He’s literally the cutest I’m not okay. And yes I know I mention him in every review what can I say

Near a life-sized Magneto cutout, Maximoff Hale leaps off a cardboard box and races towards me. “Uncle Garrison!” The corner of my mouth lifts. Moffy acts like I’m the coolest thing in the room, and we’re surrounded by crates of action figures.

Anyways I barely made it through that epilogue because it WAS TOO CUTE I had to stop to process every three seconds. AND THEN MOFFY’S PERSPECTIVE AT THE END WAS TOO GOOD AHHHH

“We’re complicated, but as long as we’re together, I don’t care what we are.”

Honestly I was just bored most of the shit that happened are stuff we already know just in different POVs... and most of the things I liked were scenes with the core 6 in them, which, like i said : same shit, different povs. so yeah... I think I liked Gillow better as side characters now I just don't care at all!

have to say this was one of my favourite of the series. no reason for it to be a duet since theyve written books longer than them combined tho. garrison and willow have my heart❤️

The first one wasn’t great, but this one was just bad. So much useless back and forth that never developed into anything.

willow and garrison have my heart, they might be my favorite couple in the addicted/calloway sisters universe. the prologue of damaged like us (like us series is the series about the addicted/calloway sisters kids) kind of made me want to read it but the like us series is soooo long lol. anyways i really enjoyed this book and i love the pacing.

'"no matter where we are," he tells me. "you're always going to be my girl"'

first off i really do love garrison and willow! i think out of all the characters in the addicted universe, willow is on i relate to the most on a personal level. and i really liked seeing garrison's character growth and his relationship with Ryke, Lo, and Connor ("im emotional because i got the three brothers I always wished i had" literally had me SOBBING). but one thing, one tiny minuscule issue i had with the addicted series and i had with this one too is how much the time jumps are!!!! the first book in this duet took place over 3 months and this one took place over THREE AND A HALF YEARS?!?! and i won't pin point exact moments because spoilers but it literally just casually skipped major moments in garrison and willow's relationship and brushed past them??? maybe that's on me because i read this duet after long way down and before reading some kind of perfects so maybe those scenes are there but still because these duets aren't considered mandatory to read with the addicted series, however if you read this duet without reading any addicted series i don't think it would be enjoyable. also there were a lot of scenes that were just a direct copy paste from the last 5ish addicted novels which was so annoying to reread when we missed out on all of these other scenes i WISHED we got. again maybe the missing scenes are in the bad reputation duet book so maybe i need to read that or search around for bonus scenes! all in all i did really enjoy this book but it just didn't have the same vibe that i love from the original addicted series, but it was still worth the read if you're a big fan of the addicted universe!
