Started out just okay, then got good once the trials started and Drake and Cass teamed up. The ending was very rushed and bonkers and ended on the worst cliffhanger ever, which kind of cancelled out the rest of the book with making it just feel rushed or half-finished, especially since there's no news of a following book. Similar to "Realm of Wonders'" but that was better.
Moderate: Death, Sexual content, and Violence

This is the Twisted Sister’s first book in their new series that takes place in the land of Osaria, thousands of years after the gods left the fae with no magic. I really think this series is going to be my favorite of all of theirs. It is a loose retelling of Aladdin, the guy finds a magical creature who can grant his every wish trapped in a golden coin and uses it to become a rich count to try to win over the princess. There is also a evil stepmother and tons of action and even angst and unrequited love. I can’t wait for the next one to come out, it’s so good!
