I love this series with my whole heart, and it was very nice to return to it. I was particularly pleased to see that this time the main characters would be Nick and Steph, who we have met in previous books, and I was very curious to see what their pairing would be like.

I liked Nick and Steph both together and separately and I liked that they had such similar mindsets and opinions. Neither of them believed very much in relationships before they met and that's why I liked the way they both ended up disproving their preconceived notions about it. They also had a lot of up-and-down moments in the book, but I liked how they managed to do that without any major drama.

Also, it was so nice to get back to the other characters! Luckily we meet them many times throughout the story and get a little insight into the lives of the others, which I especially enjoyed! :)
I also have to highlight Katie, who you just can't get tired of with her weird predictions. She’s definitely the best support character in the series, and I think she deserves a book of her own!

And the ending with the wedding of Avery and Cam got me soo emotional! Since they’re my favorite couple of the series I was rooting for something like this for them so hard! And the scenes with baby Ava…omg cuteness overload!

This was a really great story. Jennifer L. Armentrout is brilliant at crafting captivating stories that draw me into the book more and more. Honestly, the plot wasn't especially original, and yet I couldn't stop reading. That is the marking of a great author, if you ask me.

Nick is a fairly quiet bartender, with a few friends, but otherwise, mysteriously keeps to himself. He's known for only being with a girl once and then never seeing her again, as in never seeing her face, not just romantically. So when Stephanie moves to town and tries out a local bar, and she meets Nick, there is some definite chemistry there. They both seem to be on the same page as they have a one-night stand. There aren't any real expectations of anything more. The trouble comes, however, when Steph goes back to the bar, just to socialize with others there. Nick sees her and immediately confronts her for showing back up again. He's flabbergasted when she fights back, arguing that he had no right to dictate where she went, and that they never discussed anything like her complete absence from the bar if she slept with him. After Steph storms out, she's shocked to find Nick show up at her door later, when he gets off work. He wanted to apologize. He is clearly rocked by the whole situation, which is unusual considering it's not his first one night stand. They come to a truce of sorts, as his apology is genuine and she forgives him. They decide to be friends, despite both harboring a little bit more feeling towards the other. As time progresses, and neither really admits their feelings head on, the whole relationship turns into a bit of a mess. With some other factors in play it only confuses the situation more, as assumptions are made and emotions rise.

Like I mentioned, this was a solid read, with strong writing. With only a few weak spots that I can think of, this is without a doubt a four-star read for me. This book also reminded me of how much I like this author, and I can't wait to see what will come next.

I'll be honest, I was hesitant to read this one because I wasn't a huge fan of Stephanie in the previous books. I wasn't entirely convinced either that Jennifer could make me like her, let alone love her, but I was wrong.
In the previous books, Steph always seemed standoffish as far as the other female MCs were concerned, but after reading this one--and loving it, I totally understand WHY.

Nick is a delicious mix of good looks, a great sense of humor and a huge heart. Like, I can't even.

This book made me cry. Without going into too much detail for fear of spoilers, it deals with a subject that is very close to my heart, but as usual, Jennifer nailed it; the feelings, emotions, aftermath, all of it. And she did it with grace and humor.

Fans of the series will not be disappointed. If anything, it will shed a new light on Steph and her story AND the ending made me cry again but for a totally different reason. ;)

Excellent addition to the WAIT FOR YOU series!

4.5 stars actually.

This is straight up a well-written young adult sexy romance with crazy-awesome characters like psychic pole-dancers and Mixed Martial Art stars and Romani grandfathers who built construction empires but now suffer from Altzheimer's disease. (note: none of these are the actual main characters who are awesome in ways I don't want to spoil for you)

There are sexy good times, lots of emotional angst and growth, and Stephanie and Nick are two young people I absolutely was cheering on in every possible way. Kudos also go to the author for dealing in an emotionally honest-seeming way with issues like care-giving for relatives with dementia and dealing with miscarriage.

The half-star was lost to the surfeit of attractive, understanding, in lust-love couples that populated the book. I understand these are couples from other books in a connected romance world, but yikes! One can have too much of a good thing!

And there is a very conscious anti-slutshaming focus in this book. Steph has a healthy appetite for sex and not much interest in relationships, and there are several parts in the book where her friends are obvious mouthpieces for acceptance of females who enjoy casual sex. This is not a problem, but did jump out at me at times.

If you wanna fall in love, and like some sexy good times, this is a fine romance for you. I probably would recommend it only for actual adults, however.

Forever With You is the fifth book in the Wait For You series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. I was so excited to finally read Nick’s book and let me just say I wasn’t disappointed. I was just drawn into this story and I just loved getting to see some more of these amazing characters. I just didn’t want this story to end and I was immediately wanted more after turning the last page. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
