Great short stories. The diverse settings from Eatonville to Damascus to Harlem was refreshingly surprising.

I love Zora Neale Hurston and 'Their Eyes Were Watching God' is one of my faves. This was my first time reading short stories by her and some were good, but others I didn't love.
Either way, she is masterful in her command of language and dialect.
