It's always interesting to read WWII historical fiction novels showcasing the dating and courageous women who served in the resistance--helping ferry downed British/American pilots to safety, printing political pamphlets to boost morale, and all kinds of dangerous work besides.

I thought this was a decent read but there is a love triangle element that was a bit unnecessary and the book would have been much stronger without it.

This was a very disappointing read. It had potential, and then just fell apart. 😞

Fantastic listen! Great characters, fast moving intricate plot, great writing and a good narrator.

Wow! This story transported me back to WWII. It is based on true stories, which the author explains in the end note what is fact vs fiction. If you enjoy WWII genre historical fiction as I do this is a must read. The stories of impossible threats and the brave people who face those threats is hard to forget. I loved the spirit the author captured in the characters. Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down.

Finished Pam Jenoff's newest novel!!! It was a heart-wrenching and fast-paced WW2 historical fiction novel about love, family, loyalty, and betrayal.
