There were some cute moments in this book, don’t get me wrong. I knew cheating was part of the plot from reading the blurb but I didn’t expect cheating to be romanticized. Reading as Ridge and Sydney tried to justify their actions filled me with rage and took me out of the story completely.

This is my first ever Collen Hoover book and OMG I'm so glad I picked this to start and she has a new fan! This book gave me all the feels and I absolutely love Syndey and Ridge and their relationship and the love they have. My emotions were so all over the place and I loved every second of it.

I really hate love triangles. But I think Colleen Hoover is the only person that can write one I actually enjoy. I was quite entranced with the story, I couldn't put it down, even if sometimes I was frustrated with the characters. I thought the characters were quite likeable and it was really interesting to read about a deaf character and how Ridge can do different things to feel sound.

I did think the cheating was unnecessary. And Maggie deserved better.

Aside from that, I found it quite difficult not to love Sydney and Ridge and the power behind their love. 4 stars.

I think this is my favorite Colleen Hoover book that I have read! I love the storyline and how it starts by someone’s life being completely flipped upside down. Sydney is successful in her own way even after this happens. I love the interactions between all of the characters. I love how music is incorporated in the novel as well. This one actually made me cry a bit, but that may be because I listened to it as an audiobook. Excellent story! Would recommend to others in a heart beat!

Maybe Someday was the second book that I have read from Colleen Hoover. I loved her novel, Verity, so I dug right into this book. I'm typically not a huge romance fan so I was interested to see how I would like this novel.

This book is about Sydney who goes out in her apartment balcony to hear one of her neighbors Ridge across from her playing his guitar almost every evening. She loves music and really enjoys the music that he plays. Sydney and Ridge only start communicating when he wants to hear what lyrics she has come up for one of the songs that he plays. Two weeks after communicating with Ridge via texting, Sydney finds out that her best friend and roommate has been sleeping with her boyfriend of two years. She stumbles a bit and ends up staying with Ridge and his two roommates.

The rest of the novel goes into the troubles that Sydney and Ridge feel as they start developing feelings for one another and the reasons why they really shouldn't be.

Overall, this book was a good and quick read and wasn't bad considering I don't enjoy romance much. The writing of Hoover is phenomenal but I would not rate this one as my favorite of hers so far. Only remark I would make is that there is too much damn crying in this book. Like these people need to chill out a little LOL.

Comencé este libro queriendo llorar y se cumplió el cometido pero realmente no tanto como espere
Creo que este libro es de es prácticamente lugar, día, mes, año, todo equivocado menos la persona, es de verdad todo lo que puedo pensar.
