My summary: After running from her new billionaire husband Creighton Karas for a second time, Holly Wix has returned to her hometown to try to sort herself out. Creighton arrives soon behind her with the intention of straightening out their series of misunderstandings and making his feelings clear to her. As they continue figuring out their new relationship, they navigate some curveballs that life throws at them.
My thoughts: This audiobook trilogy has been great. I love the narrator for Holly with her twang and the gruffness of the narrator for Creighton. Each audiobook has been short and spicy. All three books have been the perfect distraction from real life as I listen along. The first book of this trilogy was the first I’d ever read or listened to by Meghan March, and I have since read or listened to several of her other series and I enjoy them.

I feel like this and the previous book could have been combined into one. I did like the story for both but this one was just a little better.
We finally got the character growth that we much needed for Holly and it was good to see the two of them sit down and sort out everything about their relationship. The only confusion I had was the ending. It felt like it wanted to have everything tire up in a nice neat knot and because or actions from people previously it wasn't going to be clean, so you get the ending that we got that kind of comes out of no where and slaps you across the face.
