Adorable book about the grand, Temple Grandin! (see what I did there?) She is an excellent role model for autistic girls (& boys!) & we really enjoyed this sweet, rhyming story.

Looooove this one! From the cute illustrations to using ABCB rhyming scheme to tell her incredible story, I really enjoyed this one so much. I’ve thought Dr. Grandin was a fascinating person since a friend introduced me to who she was after attending a conference Grandin spoke at. I think this one is really accessible to younger elementary readers and it made me appreciate Temple on a whole other level.

A rhyming simple picture biography to tell the story of Temple Grandin. It helps explain how her autism presented and what she did to help overcome some hurtles.

When I heard that there was a rhyming picture book about Temple Grandin, I thought, "What?" However, the back matter of the book is almost an entity itself. I did especially like some of the phrases used, such as "She was different, not less," and "...my attention to details should help me go far!"
