This has been my least favorite of the series. I've been reassured by others it's worth the slog but I'd rather just skip ahead. Thus why I dragged my feet on this one. Done though and finally off my nightstand.

The last 100 pages were SO enjoyable! I feel like the downfall of this series is that the beginning/end is so fantastic, while the middle is always stale. But, I love the series as a whole and I'll continue reading!

Sometimes, this series is really slow. Like this book, with the ending of the last one, I expected something more than I got here.

I am glad of the ending of this one, though, and what it leads up to.
Biggest problem now, is that I do have book 7, but it is a collection of shorts not directly linked to the main story, and I have no idea when I'll get around to buying the rest!

Another supremely enjoyable installment! Every volume never fails to impress me with the writing, characters, plot, etc. Lawerence and Holo's interactions were especially amusing as always (Ex. Holo thinking she can see the color of her eyes if she goes cross-eyed, oh Holo).
Finally picking up where the anime left off, Holo and Lawrence venture to chase down Eve in a rambunctious trip down a river.
I'm not sure how I feel about this Col kid joining them. I'm sure I'll end up liking him sooner or later, but I really am going to miss when it was just Lawrence and Holo. Col's reaction to Holo's wolf from was priceless; at last, someone that didn't scream and run in terror at her. I wonder if they aren't chasing Eve after all now that Col is with them, though I doubt it. It's rare that our wolf would let go of grudges like that. I'm also really excited to see if there are others like Holo still out in the world. Imagine that-I'm not sure if a whole clan of Holos should scare or fascinate me.
