I read this story originally last year as a novella and I enjoyed it then, but holy cow, it was so much better expanded and changed up to what it is now! This is an awesome second chance romance with all the feels, plenty of laughs, and fantastic tension. I love the camp setting, I LOVE camp pranks (I’ve done my share of Saran wrapping friends to their beds

4.5 stars rounded up.

Very cute and very enjoyable. I loved the chemistry between Tabitha and Sawyer, especially when they were being "just friends" haha. That was fantastic. Loved the flashbacks to the past, as well.

This next thing is mildly spoilerish, so proceed with caution... I only wish that Tabitha wouldn't have run away at that one point and that she would've given Sawyer a chance to be together earlier on and that we could've seen their relationship grow more before the ending. But, still, it was a highly enjoyable read.

Content
Some mild swearing, some kissing, some innuendo.

This was a cute, sweet, quick read. I loved the setting being at a summer camp and I liked all the characters. I just got bugged by some of their choices. I still would probably recommend it to someone in the mood for a Hallmark-type book.

What a fabulously sweet romance!

The story gets off to a slow start, and I spent the first few chapters eagerly awaiting Tabithas first present day interaction with Sawyer. Once it came the book really picked up and was impossible to put down. The flashbacks were brilliantly written, the chemistry between our two main characters was sweet and electric. And the unique touches of camp life with the prank wars added some great flavor. I’m also a sucker for a good happily ever after.

I thought this story was sweet, but it just wasn’t the trope for me. Nine years seems like an awful long time to still be “in love” with someone you only saw at summer camp. The MCs didn’t have a ton of chemistry, so I struggled to believe their love story. However, this was a cute, low angst, easy read, and I LOVED the summer camp vibes!

I was given an ARC by the author. All opinions are my own.
