Whew

Where do I even start? This book immediately took me and didn’t let go. I love that the author showed us different points of view from different ages. I love that this book gave me every emotion possible. Reading the story, I thought maybe Selene could even love Pietro and even Ciro like she loved the others. THEN BAM! I was not excepting either of those twists. At the beginning and even midway through the book, I liked Ciro (maybe even more than the others) thinking he was just the black sheep or even just misjudged and was hoping maybe they could find love with one another. I liked Pietro and how he was always around, making comments on his attraction to her and then helping her get out of the house. Then everything just shifted and he was nothing sketchy. I was very sad about what happened. Hopefully, in the second book, Selene and the boys get a better life. They definitely deserve it. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone!

I am absolutely speechless!!! This is an incredibly powerful story that invokes so many emotions. This is well written, plotted, and developed read. Be prepared to lose sleep and many tears, you will not regret reading this book!

This book was amazing! It’s the first book I’ve read by Ivy, but as soon as I finished I downloaded some of her other ones and joined her Facebook readers group because I had to have more! I love the plot, the fact that it’s RH, the different connections she has with each of them. And then the ending broke my heart and can’t wait to see what’s to come for everyone! Must read. Cannot wait for the second book!

Love this storyline. I’m sort of glad I didn’t realize this whole book was the before, because I’m not sure I would’ve read it. But the love these four have for each other is so beautiful. I loved it.

The language and sentence structure was weird though. Oddly formal and antiquated. That’s not how I imagine the mob speaks.

Also, WHY WASNT IT GIO?!? It should’ve been Gio. They waited for each other. 😩😩😩 I’m going to feel that for weeks.

Very impressed. I don't usually like mafia related themes but I really enjoyed this one. I hope I can catch up with the second one soon.

I somehow finished but it took a bit to get through it. It was relatively well written but there were many events that happened that didn’t need to. My biggest peeve was not a single person communicating with another. You’d think there’d be more chat with each other about the future than there was.

Brilliant

This is dark but addictive. I cant wait to find out more. I really like how it was told from all points of view and how it starts off young and progresses through the ages until Selene is 18!
