The arc started very strong. Went down from issue to issue. I found the ending a bit lacking. 7/10 discharges.

I’m not going to rate this cause I didn’t finish it I read the first issue and I just wasn’t interested in the premise a superhero gets his powers through drugs and alcohol and the conflicting nature of that. the first issue was mostly set up but if you’re not interested in the initial premise then you should move on and that’s how I felt

The story is about a Superhero named Ruben who derives his powers by taking drugs and he is in recovery when his villains strikes and so the q becomes will he give into drugs again? And he has to deal with a magician named Doctor Blacq, there is also his friend Eric and ex Nikkie..and something going on between the two but ultimately his choice comes in when he has to face Courtland Pierce, the most dangerous villain and also his father. Its a fun read with gorgeous visuals and epic shots but the story was cut short. I wish they had more issues to complete their full story.

Honestly, it's been done before, but still a lot of good within the story itself and a nice look at AA.

I didn't think that such a story could be told in four issues but it was, and it was a cohesive and emotional one. Can't wait to read it again and loan it to others!
