I literally could not remember anything from the first book except that I hated the main character’s name. Just cannot be bothered reading this.

I’m not quite sure how so much can happen, and then it feels like not much has happened at all?? Series continues to be mildly entertaining, but also boring for me. I don’t know if I’ll read the third book. Also… how could yall leave my girl Ruby like that… smh 

Not bad, world is a little more exapansive but it fails to really keep my interest.

DNF @ 75%. Disappointing sequel. It was a lot of filler and for the most part they didn’t know what they were doing and just wandering. It started to finally pick up when I DNF’d it but I couldn’t care by then. It ended in sort of another cliff hanger so I honestly can’t trust that the last book would be as great as the first one was.
