Steamy and taboo. Moved a bit slow, and the heroine grated in places, but let's be real- I'm here for the heartfelt but very erotic, tintillating smut Jade does so well, and we have that in spades.

This had more of a plot than most steamy books. Check trigger warnings. I enjoyed the story line- spice was intense. Problem was resolved rather quickly in the book. I did like the male characters. In my opinion, one had more depth than the other (mostly you learn more about one and not so much the other).

This book was good! Until the ending ruined it. Why does pregnancy have to be the ultimate happy ending? The idea of the farm was perfect and made sense for the story, but the pregnancy attempt came out of left field for me, and I didn’t like it.

It's her coping mechanism and has been for years. Now she's days from aging out of the system and she's pulled her final stunt on the last family. She ends up with Eli, someone she doesn't want to go to, but always can because he can use her. When Mike finds she's missing, he scours the countryside looking for her for days. He finally finds her and even though she's been roughed up, she's still being a brat. He takes her to his best friends house - Jack who's away on business. Jack comes home early because he hasn't heard from Mike and what he's going to do about his feelings for Carrie. He's swept up into The Carrie Affect too. She finds that she wants both men, and the want her too, what is everyone going to do
