this was GOOD.
Edge of my seat, didn't trust anyone, couldn't read fast enough 🤩
Great book if you want to get out of a reading slump.

I read the Spanish translation which had quite a few mistakes and it seemed like they didn't proofread it before publishing it, but that's not the author's fault.

BEST THRILLER I HAVE READ IN YEARS.

This is a fast-paced thriller. Excellent description of small-town Louisiana and childhood summers.
I actually flinched when the alligator poked its head above the water.

I started reading this book and thought I figured it out by the third chapter. I couldn't figure out why the author would give away the bad guy up so early and continue to write for 354. I was only going to read the rest of the story so I could say I knew who the bad guy was all along. Well, Stacy Willingham got me good she showed me I had NO CLUE to who the bad guy was and no idea how this story ended. She got me hook, line and sinker.
