Oraya emotional journey was so raw and relatable, I'm so heartbroken for her!
I hated the ending tough! Wtf!
I really need a serious relentless + brutal revenge arc in the next book!
Plus: I need to know more about Vincent, whose story we learn almost nothing about. To me he was the most interesting character, I loved the mystery that surrounded him.
I request a prequel about Vincents life, pretty please 🙏

Enjoyable read though, but it was very much a "kinda want to see what happens" vibe that drew me to ordering the next book, not a "I need to know what happens NOW".

A decent read but a little overhyped imo. I wasn't overly attached to the characters or gripped by the story so won't rush to grab the sequel.
The FMC seems a little immature at times & leans into the irritating spoiled princess cliché.

((Also - and this is petty because I have read way too many vampire books and also all of Maas' work - I'm not a huge fan of winged vampires. Shapeshifting to have wings? Sure. Turning into animals a 'la the old myths? Of course. But... feather wings and bat wings? I dunno.))
