The ending was hilarious, they really captured Ash's personaly with this one. Need to hunt down any further installments now, I'm very behind.

I love Army of darkness and this book does not disappoint.

I think this is very much a niche book. You have to a big fan of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness to think this is awesome. I thought it was like pop music: fun, but easily forgotten.

I don't care much for crossovers, but I gave this a try anyway. It wasn't an exciting read, but it had its merits- particularly the zombified Avengers, brief as many of their appearances seemed, and the humorous ending.

Now this is what I'm talkign about. The explanation of the Marvel Zombies is awesome for any Evil Dead fan and the fact that this is a direct continuation of the Army of Darkness comic makes it that much better. If anyone is interested in the series you just need to read this, MZ 1-2 and Returns. They offer the best plot of them all and are coherent together. Please note I havent read dead days which bridges Army and MZ1

Add Army of Darkness to an already fun idea and it gets way better. Ash works as a 4th wall breaker, making us self aware of how silly it is that there's a world of "spandex wearing super-chumps" and how they're causing more trouble in this than they ever solved beforehand.

A solid mix of horror and comedy.

Cute :] an interesting clash of worlds for Marvel and Evil Dead lovers. Ash being funny and cocky as usual and some Marvel greats like the Avengers and even Dr. Doom and the Enchantress. Not too shabby!

Not a must read to complete the series, as this cross over is more of a stand alone. Would recommend this to fans of the original Evil Dead. Was an average read.

Not much to say other than the title speaks for itself. You won't find a picture of Howard the Duck eating Bruce Campbell's brain in Tolstoy, I'll tell you what.

Otherwise, fun, but a throwaway story
